bay beats 06 baby

1 colour in the midst of an orgy of black and whites. My 1st in a nong time. Anyways, i wasnt really happy with the rest of my photos but i picked these few as my favourites. i think i went a little mad that weekend ( well i took 4 rolls of film ). Youd noticed that my mosh shots are mostly blinded by the flash. paper please.
1. Tiramisu performing at chillout stage ( salute to you, cabaret frontman, who gave us spontaneous spasm galore )
2 and 3. Ginette of Astreal. Ones grainy and mellow, while the other is an over-flashyfied close up
4,5 and 6. Body surfing at plainsunset and beezewax honeycomb
hopefully by next year there would be a D in front of our SLR when we visit the beat bay

Iggy And The Fantastic Frisbee Factory : A Photo Essay

7:29 PM
Light Effects And Overdramatics.

God help me with the clouds really. They're just too beautiful. Third one's a favourite.
These were taken with a roll of Ilford XP2 Super 400 film. The contrast is fantastic as is the tone. The grain however is a little bad. They were, like my last post, also taken with an orange filter.

Yet another achromatic post

After a hectic month, im back with updateys. i havent posted colour in a while but i thought i might as well stick to black and white since all these pictures were self processed in the cosy temasek poly darkroom.well note that many of the pics are more grainy then usual and youd noticed the occasional scratch or watermark due to BDT ( bad darkroom techhinque ). In my new pics, you would observe that i dont emphasize too much on the pic quality but rather the capture moment, which is bad in and out. 1st 2 pics are of FALLEN SUMMER ( kick ass band ) and drummer , J-ring Zhou. ?? You might not notice the hand stuck out in pic 3 but the guy was trying to tell me, " Fool, im allergic to 50mm nikor lens ". Last 2 pics are of pure street skating. HOLLA

Texture, Shape and Other Oddities

Mind the clouds, I have an overwhelming attraction to the texture of clouds. Not the fat ass big puffy cumulus ones, the wispy thin like-whisper-claims-its-products-are ones. If you notice how the lighting in the first two pictures are like opposites, I will say to you to that I am, myself, still surprised very much by my own results. Feeding twig, suits the third one. the shape is so animalistic and very much dead at the same time. Lots of contrast, subject contrast that is. If someone can come up with a name for the 4th one comment please thank you. Its weird because water usually goes on the top of an umbrella not the bottom. The last picture has even more contrast, I would say, than the third one since the simplest looking thing is the only man-made thing which is rather uncommonplace in reality.
