People. in these two colors.

In case you're wondering last picture is photoshop free. As are all the rest of my previous photos. OK, i'll admit to some dodging and burning but those are classified as acceptable editing. As said in the newspaper article in 13/8 The Sunday Times (somewhere). Pictures taken with Fujifilm Neopan 1600(1st and 2nd) , Ilford XP2 Super 400(3rd and 4th) and Kodak Tmax 100 (5th and 6th).

A tribute to the hockers.

These are a mean bunch of spirited individuals(or not) who play hockey. Other than that i wouldn't know them. Taken with Slides. Fujifilm Sensia 100 and one frame of Kodak Ektachrome E100VS. Bryan(1st frame) as usual remains one of the best persons to take pictures of.

Come on Madam ! 1,2,3..Push!

So so so. Ivan asks me a day(or two) back what pushed film is for. For all of you who know less than he does, pushing film means to use it at a higher ISO than what it is rated at, for example setting your light meter to calculate light ratios for 800 film when you are using 400 film, which is a one-stop push as shown above. So Ivan, you look and see what the differences are, colour, grain and whatnot. The grain and quality deterioration isn't that much of a pain in the garage so it definitely is a good thing in that aspect. Oh and another thing, the purpose of these photos is not just for the pushing. They actually were properly thought through before creation.

The Monotone menace.

As you can probably deduce, these are pictures of someone's sister. Lively action to capture really. And take my word for it, the first picture was hard to come by.Taken with Fujifilm Neopan 1600 Black & White Film and an orange filter. Grainy Many. Fast film and yet that motion blur in frame 4 , shows the real action
